This is due to the limit of 128K per post. My Weather station is a David Vantage Pro2 which I purchase on May 1st, 2008.Īny advice or suggestions from anyone’s experience or knowledge? Would sure appreciate it.Īttached here and in the next post are some 2 screen copies of details of the recent dmp file (Dump Info 1 and Dump Info 2), and the 3 screen copies of Windows Problem Details (Details 1, Details 2, and Details 3) on that BSOD. Either way, I don’t want to lose the running of WD or the updates to my web site ( But I get tired of the BSOD and the frequent WD lockups (cannot bring up WD at all, and have to do a PC restart). Should I change to the new, and more expensive Edgeport/1 or install the Windows 7 Keyspan Windows 7 drivers first. After the BSOD this morning, I had a WD lockup at 10:08am but all is working well at this moment, 1:21pm (tho another problem is probably emminent, the past weeks are any indication). I now have an Edgeport/1 USB Converter which I have not installed neither the device nor the SW drivers. The driver installed automatically by Windows 7 was an FTDI one with a date of 3-18-11, version 2.8.14.0 for USB Serial Port COM3 (which is what I have WD set for). If it appears, this means that the driver is installed. On a Windows computer, go to the Start Menu, Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, and look for a Keyspan USB Serial Adapter in the list. Maybe I should have installed the Keyspan drivers for the serial-USB converter, but for about 2 weeks after I got the new computer, all seemed fairly ok (no BSOD). Light not lit: The adaptor is not working, is not connected to the computer, or the driver is not installed.

Using a dump editor, the best I can discover is that these are caused by the Keyspan USB Adapter US-19HS. Since I have had to move all my WD software, files, and to a new computer due to a unbootable PC, I have had 6 Blue Screens of Death from 6 Sept to this morning, and number lockups of WD due to unknown reasons.
